After the resounding success of the two former Student Council Leadership Conferences in July 2006 and November 2007, the annual gathering of the region's cream of the crop youth vanguards will kick-off come November 27 to 29, 2008 with the theme " Changing Ourselves to Change the World: Responding to the Challenge of a Global Ethic Leadership". While the previous conferences were focused about principles of an effective and culture - centered leadership, this year the conference is geared to unravel key student leader issues as proportioned to the underlying principles of a global ethic leadership.

This year, colleges and universities from Northern Samar to Southern Leyte and Biliran Province will be given a maximum of three (3) slots to the conference which will complete the gathering of the chosen 150 student leaders geared towards discussing, synthesizing and learning the key priniciples of the conference : engage, enhance and empower. The 3-day conference will also indulge the participants to several talks and fora where relevant topics are discussed by guest solon speakers from the Philippine House of Representatives and other contemporary leaders from various agencies and institutions who are in the same nature of advocacies.
